How this was calculated
This is a planning estimate. CBM alone does not guarantee physical fit – dimensions, orientation, stacking and clearance also matter. Confirm the final load plan with your freight forwarder.
How this works
Choose a container size and pallet type, then tell it how your cargo is loaded: whether it overhangs the pallet, whether it can be stacked, and its weight. The calculator tries two loading layouts - all pallets in one orientation, and a mixed layout that turns pallets 90 degrees in any leftover space - and uses whichever fits more, then checks that against the container's weight limit and volume.
This version plans a single product. Support for mixed product shipments (splitting a shipment by percentage across several products) is planned next.
Important. Container internal dimensions and payload limits vary slightly between shipping lines and individual units. The figures used here are typical industry values, not a specific carrier's certified specification. Always confirm the exact figures with your shipping line or freight forwarder before finalising a shipment.
